Public Transit:

Airport Flyer or VTA #10 is a free connecting shuttle bus that runs between San Jose airport terminals, Metro Light Rail Station and Santa Clara Caltrain Station.

The closest BART station is in Fremont. You can get there by taking VTA Airport Flyer to Metro Light Rail Station, go to Civic Center. VTA #180 is an express shuttle bus that connects light rail station and Fremont Bart station.

Amtrak stops at San Jose Diridon Station (the main rail and transportation hub in Silicon Valley) You can get there by taking VTA Airport Flyer to Metro Light Rail Station and take light rail to Diridon Station. Coast Starlight and Capital Corridor (going through East Bay to Greater Sacramento area) both use this station.

Altamont Commuter Express also stops at Diridon Station. It is a train that goes from San Jose to Stockton, stopping in Pleasanton, Livermore, Tracy, and Manteca on the way.
